She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Harold Adams (Bruno). She is survived by: her mother Joyce Adams; her daughter Jennifer Horner (Gary); her pet Bailie; and her sisters, Jane Flanders (Jack), Jean Roberson (Kirk), Julie Norred (Ray, family: Joseph Flanders, Mandy Garrett, Stephen Heard, Jeremy Heard), Nancy Elliott (Wade) and Connie Thompson (George). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and family.
In lieu of flowers, Joan has asked that a donation be made to Georgia Cancer Center and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
