She is survived by: her sons, Richard Boatwright of North Augusta and Thomas Mack Boatwright (Ginamrie) of Appling; her sisters, Linda Kirk and Kathy Nelson; her granddaughter Cassandra DeNio; and her great grandchildren, Autumn Sumrow and Kaylee DeNio. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel (7600 Trenholm Rd Ext, Columbia, SC 29223). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at the Memorial Gardens of Columbia (9301 Wilson Blvd, Columbia, SC 29203).
