We announce the death of Elsie Eve in North Augusta, South Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Brice Eve; her parents, Walter Jack Greer and Lillian Ruth Bailey Greer; and her siblings, Bobbie Ruth Cudd and Bailey Greer.
She is survived by: her sister Sadie McWhite of Union; her daughters, Brenda (Glenn Hedgecock), Carol (Hillyer Wright), Georgia and Mary Sue Parker (Dennis); her grandchildren, Glenn III, Grace Hedgecock, Brice, Erin Hedgecock, Gray Hedgecock, Katharine, Scrap Ladson, Jeff, Holly Wright, Emily and Brent Bouthiller; and her great grandchildren, Sizhuang Hedgecock, Lucy Hedgecock, Elsie Ladson, Scrap Ladson, Vi Ladson, Huck Ladson, Ava Wright, Bailey Bouthiller and Ella Bouthiller.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. M. Ford Funeral Directors (637 W Martintown Rd, North Augusta, SC 29841). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the J. M. Ford Funeral Chapel (637 W Martintown Rd, North Augusta, SC 29841). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at the Hammond Cemetery.
