He is survived by: his son Mitchell Carpenter (Carly); his granddaughter Alaina; and his siblings, Ted Carpenter, Tim Carpenter, Randy Carpenter (Vicki), Marnie Mabe (Ronnie), Ruthann "Squeaky" Clem (Michael) and Sheena Reiter (Stephen).
