With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Martin Hightower (North Augusta, South Carolina), who passed away on November 15, 2025 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Harold Delk Hightower; and his sister Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Hightower. He is survived by: his mother Mary Hightower Dice (Merchon) of Clearwater; his daughters, Maggie Hightower Alverson (Matt) of Waynesboro, Georgia and Anna-Kate Hightower (Colby) of Edgefield; his siblings, Gene Hightower (Carla) of Gloverville and Sara Adkinson (Chris) of Graniteville; his stepsister Shannon Brown (Justin) of Trenton; his grandson Russ Alverson; and his uncle Robert Hightower (Rene). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
