She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Hammond and Mary Belle Hammond; and her husband Edgar Don Whatley. She is survived by: her sisters, Katie Hammond Smith and Frankie Hammond Newsome; and her sister-in-law Sandra Ellis (John). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and numerous other extended family.

Due to COVID-19 social distancing will be observed and facial masks requested.
