It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Henry Lyle West of North Augusta, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 82, on December 22, 2021. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Brenda Joyce Williams West; his parents, James Lyle and Alice Eula Callaway West; his sons, George Lyle West (Megan) of Marietta, GA, Joel Henry West (Vickie) of Kernersville, NC, Gregory Lyle West (Connie) of Southside, AL and Mark Christopher West (Chrystal Ochs) of Chesapeake, VA; and his siblings, Martha Sue Brain of Maggie Valley, NC and James Harley West (Collette) of Polk City, FL. He was also cherished by his wife and parents, family members.

“In loving memory of Henry West, a great friend. I met Henry in 2013 when we moved to Sun City Peachtree just around the corner from him and Brenda. The first thing we noticed was his golf cart painted in Carolina blue colors complete with the UNC Tar Heel logo. We quickly established a bond since both our kids went to school there. Henry loved his golf (as well as his Carolina basketball team) and helped several of us novices develop our games. I’ll always remember the good time we shared.”
