He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ray Stone and John Stone; and his parents, Raymond Stone and Sarah Richardson Stone. He is survived by: his brothers, Richard Stone (Terri) of North Augusta, S. C. and Rowland Stone (Teresa) of Clearwater, S. C; and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Ashley, Dayton, Jamey, Josh, Amy and Bruce.

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that memorials be made to Woodridge Baptist Church, 401 Birch Street, North Augusta, S.C. 29841.
