He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine Bell and John Dean Bell; his niece Brenda Locke Flanagan; and his brother-in-law Jim Locke. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn McFerrin Bell; his children, Angela Bell Docherty (Howard), Michael Bell and Melissa Fleming (Eldon); his grandchildren, Callie Bell, Cameron Docherty, Katie Docherty, Samantha Fleming, Leslie Fleming and Raymond Drew Fleming; his great grandchild Ada Bell; his sister Linda Bell Locke; his nephew Kenneth Locke (Tammy); and his niece Sharon Locke Quarles (Mark).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial donations or contributions be made to Sweetwater Baptist Church.
