Mattie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mattie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Mattie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Brown, Sr.; her children, Tammie Jefferson (Lee) and Larry Brown, Jr. (Valeria Denise); and her brother Willis Johnson, Jr. (Elsie). She is also survived by three grandchildren; a host of other loving relatives and friends.
