He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Ames and Eleanor Ames; and his brother Alan Ames. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his daughters, Christy Dietz (Eric), Katie, Elisabeth Ruege (Zach) and Caroline Ivey (Sam); and his sisters, Rosalie (Terry) and Louise (Richard). He is also survived by his grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
