She was predeceased by: her father Captain William A. Griffis, III; her uncle Captain Donald Griffis; and her aunt Sallie Griffis Helms. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Charlie Dees of North Augusta; her mother Sally Baggett Griffis of Aiken; her sister Mitty Mirrer (Frank Mirrer); and her nieces, Alexandra and Emma of Providence, RI..
