With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Durant of North Augusta, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on February 3, 2026 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolive Durant and Winnie Durant; and his former wife Beulah "Boots". He is survived by: his wife Judith Nightingale; his children, Clark Durant, Renee Ferguson and Amy Cassidy (Chris); his brother Paul Durant (Ruby); and his nephews, John and Hiram. He is also survived by four grandchildren; a great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Giles Chapel at Deerfield, Asheville (1617 Hendersonville Rd, Asheville, NC 28803).
