It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Gordon of North Charleston, South Carolina, born in Kingstree, South Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Green and Polly Green; her son Allen Gordon Sr.; her grandson Shamir Gordon; and her siblings, Inell Green, Ida May Braggs and Henry Green.
She is survived by: her brother Joseph Keels; her sons, Alvin Gordon Sr., Anthony Gordon (Jackie) and Otis Gordon (Olga); her nephew Leonard Green (Latisha); her daughters, Diane Davis and Fernesha Carter (James); her grandchildren, Tysheka Prioleau, Allen Gordon Jr., Alvin Gordon Jr., Angela of Washington, Davonte Simmons (Danyelle), Solomon Gordon and Antavis Fagun (Pumpkin); and her cousins, Alice May Burgess and Ethel Lee Stranton. She is also survived by her family, her church family, and friends.
