She was predeceased by: her parents, Seth Capes and Gladys Capes (McCoy); her brothers-in-law, Ernie, Gregory Miller and Jack Tinkler; her nephew Gregory Miller Jr.; and her great-nephew Robert Dunn.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Leigh (Brian Rogers); her friends, Sue Walsh (Coffin), Ann Brownell, Veronica Seaman (Peak) and Mary Ann Jory; her pets, Charlie and Piper; her significant other Claude Bailey of North Charleston, SC; and her siblings, Carolyn Beran (Danny) of Ilion, Judy Bennett-Tinkler of Ilion, Larry Capes (Nancy) of Pine Bluffs, WY, Barbara Miller (JoAnn) of Summerville, SC and JoAnn Richards (Jim) of Ilion. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
