It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlos Sebastian Martinez of North Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 26, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Margarita Canales, Andres Canales Sr. and Ignacio Martinez Sr.. He is survived by: his father Ignacio Martinez Jr.; his son Lucian; the mother of his children Sarah Sutter; his mother Becky Canales (Jack McCormick); his brother Mathew (Morgan); his nieces and nephews, Weston and Maize of Markesan, WI; his brother Ignacio; his nieces and nephews, Oliver and Raya of Fond du Lac, WI; his brother Esteban of Charleston, SC; his great-uncle Raul Ortegon; and his grandparent Willie Navarro of Fond du Lac, WI. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations to Lucian Martinez be made out to Sarah Sutter.
