He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank M. Williamson and Lillian R. Williamson; his wife Bernice C. Williamson; his sisters, Lillian Dickinson, Ethel New, Myrtle Larisey and Annie Ivie; and his grandchildren, Ashley Dear and Scott Williamson.
He is survived by: his children, Diane W. Bennett (Nelson) of Bonneau, SC, Brenda W. Nix (Nicky) of Moncks Corner, SC, Debra W. Dear (Willie) of Lebanon, SC and Rodney D. Williamson (Pam) of Middleburg, FL.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stuhr's Funeral Home (2180 Greenridge Rd, North Charleston, SC 29406). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery.
