With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald McLeod Barfield (North Charleston, South Carolina), born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2022 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Barfield and Katherine Barfield; and his brother William. He is survived by: his pets, Skillet, Gage and Dale; his son Donald Scott Barfield (Helen) of Summerville; his siblings, Ricky Barfield (Brenda) of Moncks Corner, Ed Barfield (Dawn) of Givhans and Kathi Barfield DuCharme of St. George; his sister-in-law Laurie Peek Barfield of North Charleston; his friend Tammy Barfield Dehay; and his granddaughter Jaylee Kate Barfield. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews.
