With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris James (North Charleston, South Carolina), born in Dillon, South Carolina, who passed away on March 3, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Jackson and Hazel Wise Jackson; and her husband Weston Earl James. She is survived by : her children, Pam Austin of Fernandina Beach, FL, Kim James of Branchville, SC and Earl James (Lisa) of Hanahan, SC; her brother Gene Upton of Latta, SC; her grandchildren, Heather Austin Gore (Josh), Brad Austin, Tyler James (Katelyn), Dennis James (Keagan), Ethan James, Davin James and Taylor Martin; and her great grandchildren, Cooper Gore, Claire Gore, Weston James and Willow James. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
