She was loved and cherished by many people including: her son Resha Lamar Young (Chiwana); her grandchildren, Shanda Bumchamb, Alonzo Bumchamb (Danielle), Kwamaine Young (Katrina), Amari Young and RyLee; and her sister Vernell Sheppard.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church (3317 Meeting Street Rd, North Charleston, SC 29405). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
