He was predeceased by: his mother Carol Knight; his sister Rae Phelps; and his grandparents, Don and Betty Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Lee Phelps of Sumter, SC; his son Luke Brantley Phelps; his brother Josh Stamps (Pam) of Goose Creek, SC; his sibling's children, Dale Canterbury Jr. and Haley Rae Phelps; his stepchildren, Kennley, Christian, Rhett Rodgers of Sumter, SC, Preston and Braxton Steedley of Summerville, SC.; Ashley Steedley.
