She was predeceased by: her siblings, T. C., Ula Mae, Ralph and Elizabeth. She is survived by: her husband James M Deaton; her children, Charles Timothy Houge (Sherrie Houge) and Eunice Melinda Patenaude (Colonel Vince Patenaude); her stepdaughters, Sherard D. Thomas and Laura A. Deaton; her grandchildren, Thomas Houge, Courtney Kinsey and Mary Katherine Moore; and her great grandchildren, Madelyn Katherine Kinsey and Peyton Rhae Houge.
