She is survived by : her great-nephew Derrick Williams; her family Gardena; and her siblings, Lorraine Canady, Shirley Hughes, Benita Holmes, Catrice Smalls, Emma Jean Grudger of Jacksonville, Carlos Pinckney (Nakeeca) and Lonnie Pinckney. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Light of Christ Ministries (1108 Bees Ferry Rd, Johns Island, SC 29455).
