It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary L Sturgeon of North Charleston, South Carolina, born in Mexico, Missouri, who passed away on January 19, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Linda Sturgeon; his parents, Kenneth Sturgeon and Betty Sturgeon; his children, Harmony Gipson (William Gammons) of Ravenel, SC and Matthew Branscum (Stephanie) of Summerville, SC; and his grandchildren, Xavier Branscum (Deidre), Cameron Gammons and Arianna Gammons of Ravenel, SC. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.

On one ride, Gary followed the ALR riders in his truck providing drinks and snacks. I had dropped my keys at a gas station and Gary took me back to pick them up without hesitation.
