With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hazel Hill Thigpen of North Charleston, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 19, 2024 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vertis James Hill and Ethel Hill; her husband Leo Thigpen; her son Michael Thigpen; her grandson Jordy Thigpen; and her siblings, James D. Hill, Mack Hill, Vertis Hill Jr., Inez M. Petracca and Alma V. Gann.
She is survived by: her siblings, Wayne Varner, Dennis Hill (Linda), Faye Davis and Nita Stone; and her niece Candy. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
