He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Hutson and Florence Hutson; his son Jimmy Rogers of Moncks Corner; and his siblings, Barbara Hudson of Ladson, James Hutson, Charleston and Charles Hutson of North Carolina.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Frances Hutson; and his children, Jack Hutson Jr. (Marie) of Moncks Corner, Susie Richardson (Lee) of Huger and Melissa Hunnicutt (Mike) of Pelzer. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
