He is survived by: his wife Lucille Brandon Simpson; his children, Cindy Peppler of Charleston and Jimmy Simpson (Jan) of St. George; his grandson William Bostick of Charleston; his sister Eva Williamson (Robert) of Clemson; his stepgrandchildren, Ernie Knight (Lu Ann) and Daniel Knight; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ernie Nick, Wesley Logan, Emma and Miley of St. George. He is also survived by several cousins and many nieces and nephews.
