He is survived by: his children, Dera Riley, Sonya Tucker, Layzette Gilmore and Geary Barnes; his grandchildren, Brittany Moore, Kayla Jones, Briana Hudson, Paisley Gilmore, Bakari Tucker, Paige Barnes, Justice Moore, Braiya Moore and Alaya Jones; and his brother Jessie Nelson.
