She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas C. Sanders and Marjorie R. Sanders. She is survived by: her grandsons, Kash and Kannon; her husband Wendell W. Garris; her children, Kendell Garris and Cade Garris; and her siblings, Charles Sanders (Sheri) and Deborah Travis.
