She was predeceased by: her brother Raymond "Sony" Cofield. She is survived by: her husband Michael H. Bowick; her children, Gwen B. Knight (Kevin), Michael "Beaver" Bowick, Jr. (Staci) and Dawn B. Oiesen (Pete); and her brother William "Billy" Cofield. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
