She was predeceased by: her parents, George M. Huggins II and Louise J. Huggins; her former husband Maynard J. LaPorte; and her son James Clayton LaPorte. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Holliday (Andrew); her husband John; and her siblings, Zelda Housand, George Huggins III and Jennie Lee Hunter. She is also survived by several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
