Though Melanie may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her son Christopher Infinger; her father Ray "Swede" Larson; and her stepfather James "Jim" Cochran. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin Bazemore; her daughter Danyelle Lewis (Eric); her mother Meree Cochran; her sister Debra Rivera (Juan); and her grandchildren, Kristian and Tara Marie. She is also survived by four stepchildren and 10 step-grandchildren, nieces and nephew, as well as her many great-nephews and her great-niece.
