It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin D Twite of North Charleston, South Carolina, born in Beresford, South Dakota, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bert M. Twite and Evelyn Vennard Willems; his daughters, Tamara Mincey of North Charleston and Trassa Houge (Kenneth) of North Charleston; his grandchildren, Amber Jones (Jason) of Wadsworth, Ill, Kenneth Houge, Jr. (Matthew Houge) and Jennifer Anderson (Eric) of Summerville; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Adeleine Teske and Emmett Anderson; his siblings-in-law, William Whatley and Julia Kilgore; and his wife Patricia. He was also cherished by several nephews, a neice and several cousins.
