We announce the death of Sara M Parks (North Charleston, South Carolina), who passed away on August 29, 2026, at the age of 79. Sara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Rose Cox, Richard Mabry and Ralph Mabry; and her nephew Johnathan. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth M. Parks; her children, Angela L. Parks-Durr (Terry Durr), Tamala E. Chmiel (Fred Chmiel), Kenneth M. Parks II (Sarah Parks) and Fields R. Parks (Holly Parks); her grandchildren, Victoria, Samantha, Harlee, Jeffrey, Lily, Connor, Chelsey, Ty, Austin, Ashlynne, Gabrielle, Taylor, Olivia, Preston, Karolina, Kenneth, Sarahanne, Dylan, Jacob, Kaleb, Xavier and Amya; her great grandchildren, Neely, Murphy, Theo, Eloa, Noah, Ellie, Tate, Hazel, Daisy, Corinne, Addison and Madelyn; her siblings, Johnny Mabry (Yvonne Mabry), Cheryl Jones (Rex Jones) and Julie Merlin; and her nieces and nephews, Rex Jones Jr., Chris, Chase, Izzy, Haley and Rebecca. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
