She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ernest Mitchell and Margaret Mitchell; her uncles, Elijah Mitchell, Arthur Lee Mitchell, Sr., Roosevelt Mitchell and James Mitchell; and her aunt Geraldine Mitchell.

She is survived by: her mother Magdalene Glover (Charles); her brother Charles Glover, Jr.; her husband Travon Simmons; her uncle Charles Mitchell; her aunts, Gloria Mitchell, Albertha Carroll, Susie Mitchell, Jerrilee Mitchell and Albrenda Mitchell; and her godparents, Rev. Alvin and Harriet Bonaparte.
