It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Roberts of North Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theophilus Hayes and Albertina Hayes (Dellimore); her husband Francis Roberts; her siblings, Alva Phillips, Peter Ottway, Phyllis Hayes, Victor Hayes, Keith Hayes, Sybil Hayes, Eustace Hayes, Helen Hayes, Gladys Hayes and Angela Hayes; and her nephew Duane Hayes.
She is survived by: her brother Elton Hayes Sr.; her sister-in-law Patricia Hayes; and her nieces and nephews, Michelle Hayes, Maureen Lord, Joan Isaac, Trudy Hayes, Nandi Kitzmiller (Hayes), Damien Hayes, Elton Hayes Jr. (Jason), Albert Hayes and Kenny Phillips.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hospice Foundation of America.
