John C. Elko Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John C. Elko of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 21, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Elko and Dorothy Elko; and his children, Ashley Elizabeth Elko Griffin and John Louis Elko. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Malinchak Elko; his grandchildren, Hayley Elyce Bilko, Lyla Carolann Griffin of Surfside Beach, SC and John Michael Elko of Carbondale, PA; and his sister Jacqueline (John Sokoloski) of Lewiston, NY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
