We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025, at the age of 71, John David Gleaton of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John David Gleaton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Gleaton and Geneva Gleaton (Peggy); and his brother Gary. He is survived by: his wife Paula Swartz Gleaton; his siblings, Amanda Hoffman (Robert) and Rickey Bowley (Tara); his siblings-in-law, Donna Gleaton, Adina McInturff and Michael Swartz; his siblings' children, Jacinda Mattson (Chad), Makayla Hoffman, Regan Hoffman, Marcus Bowley and Caleb Bowley; and his great-nephews, Ayden Mattson, Camden Mattson and Braxton Mattson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stover Funeral Home (177 N Holliday St, Strasburg, VA 22657). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
