Though Meade DeVanuia has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Urban Padgett Jr. and Barbara Jewel Odom Vick; and her stepfather Bearl Vick (Garry Padgett). She is survived by: her husband Bill Bryan; her brother Barry Padgett (Debbie); her niece Jillian Padgett; her nephews, Kerry Padgett (Johnna) and Dr. Joseph Padgett (Rema); and her great-niece Madison Jewel Padgett (Morgan).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Coastline Women's Center - Conway, SC, Triad Pregnancy Care – Greensboro, NC or Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church – Shak Renovation Fund.
