He is survived by: his mother Joyce Godfrey Phillips of Sanford, NC; his sister Sherry Phillips Kent (Lloyd) of Sanford, NC; his sibling's children, Nicholas Kent of Sanford, NC and Melissa Kent Bayles (James); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lucas and Saylor of Shalimar, Florida; his uncles, Jerry Godfrey of Broadway, NC and Travis Phillips of Sanford, NC.; his fiancée Gina Langdon of Franklinton, NC.; and also, Marcia Ballard and Sandra Cotten of Sanford, NC..
