He is survived by: his wife Claire Bureau Scavone; and his children, Elizabeth Ann Feren, Stephanie Claire Scavone Storey and Anthony William Scavone. He is also survived by grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church (1100 8th Ave N, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582).
