It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Burton Williams of North, South Carolina, born in Henderson, Tennessee, who passed away on December 11, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas James Williams and Sue McBride Williams; and his sister Tommie Jean Polk of Henderson, Tennessee.. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Harris; his children, Laura Lea (Phil) and James Burton, Jr. (Nicole); and his grandchildren, Trey, Molly (Austin), Mary Charlotte, Tripp and Caroline.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of Christ (1055 Gold Hill Rd, Fort Mill, SC 29708).
Memorial tributes may be made to the Church of Christ at Gold Hill Road Missions Fund.
