He was predeceased by: his siblings, Louise F. Crapse and Charlie M. Fanning. He is survived by: his significant other Bobbie; his children, Bonnie Gardner (Lee), Donna Harward (Rick), Connie Terry (Scott) and Alan Fanning (Teresa); his grandchildren, Rebecca Kick (Steven), Scott Harward (Eleanor), Emily Johnson (David), Charlsy McDowell (Taylor), Holden Epperly (Ryan), Brooke Brettschneider (Patrick), Jarred Fanning (Karis), John Fanning (Julie), Logan Strickland (Jonathan) and Austin Fanning; and his sister Mozelle F. Kennedy. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
