She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Pender and William Pender; her husband Robert J. Slane; her daughter Megan McLeod; and her siblings, William Pender and Jean Perrine.
She is survived by: her sisters, Marjorie Price of South Plainfield, NJ and Eileen Hennigan of Brick, NJ; and her children, Mark Slane (Cindy), Kathleen Gensheimer, Mary Beth Horgan (Kevin), Christopher Slane and Matthew Slane (Susan). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and friends.
