He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Benjamin Hollis and Floreen Allan Hollis. He is survived by: his wife Mary Shealy Hollis; and his daughters, Mel Evans and Kathryn Hollis Peters. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Operation Patriots FOB (OPFOB), Okatee Baptist Church, a veterans' organization or charity of your choice, or by honoring Sam's memory through an act of service or kindness for someone in need.
