We are sad to announce that on September 2, 2025, at the age of 85, Blondell Langston Johnson (Olanta, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Fred Manley Johnson; her parents, Milber Langston and Bannie Langston; and her siblings, Charles Langston, Joyce Ann Martin, Bobbie Jean Roidl and Loretta Coker.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Ray Johnson (Felecia), Billy Joe Johnson (Brandi), Cathy Stroman (Clinton) and Bonnie Franklin (Jay) of Timmonsville; and her sisters, Mildred Ackerman of Scranton and Jeanette Wilkes of Scranton. She is also survived by twenty-five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Floyd Funeral Home (136 E Main St, Olanta, SC 29114). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Olanta Church of God of Prophecy, P.O. Box 569, Olanta, SC 29114, to honor Blondell's steadfast faith and commitment to her community.
