He was predeceased by: his wife Dora Mae Wilkes; his parents, Theodore Donald and Hazel Driggers Wilkes; and his brothers, Randy Mickel Wilkes, William Henry Wilkes and Billy Cecil Wilkes.
He is survived by: his brother Theodore Wilkes II (Teddy); his sisters-in-law, Debra Wilkes and Ann Gray; and his sibling's children, Becky Keefe, Leslie Turner (Art), Billie Jo Adee, Pam Hickman (Jason) and Travis Wilkes (Jessie). He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Floyd Funeral Home (136 E Main St, Olanta, SC 29114). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family request that memorials be made to the McLeod Hospice program.
