It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meddie Graham Poston (Olanta, South Carolina), who passed away on October 3, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Thurmond C. Poston; her parents, Zingle Graham and Irene Graham; and her siblings, Harry, George, John, Rosalee, Willie and Naomi Harrell.
She is survived by: her children, Marion Poston (Debra), Jenny Dorrell (Dillon), Sue Anne Gainey and James Poston (Carla); her grandchildren, Matthew Dorrell (Wendy), Andrew Dorrell (Clara), Leslie Floyd (Matthew), Brian Matthews, Justin Poston (Kristin), Amanda Berg (Zack) and Amy Crews (T. C.); her great grandchildren, Kaci, Cameron, Carly, Carolina, Braylon, Phillip, Abby, Noah, Andrew, Hailey and Stetson; and her sister Faye Lee (Windell).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Floyd Funeral Home (136 E Main St, Olanta, SC 29114). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
