She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Way and Jennie Pearl Way (Warren); her husband William; her daughter Donna Kordonis; and her granddaughter Madison Simmons.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Bramblett of Aiken, SC and Jenny Bramblett of North Charleston, SC; and her sister Linda Derrick of Mount Pleasant, SC.. She is also survived by Four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
