She was predeceased by: her spouse Burney McDaniel; and her parents, J. C. Hutchinson and Wincie Hutchinson. She is survived by: her children, Dalene McDaniel, Mark McDaniel (Mary Driscoll) and Mike McDaniel (Donna). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. (1012 Whitman St SE, Orangeburg, SC 29115). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Crestlawn Memorial Gardens (4830 Columbia Rd NE, Orangeburg, SC 29118).
